Evan Rachel Wood
Evan Rachel Wood was conceived in
Raleigh, North Carolina on September 7th 1987. Her father, Ira David Wood III,
is a theatre actor writer and director as is her mother, Sara Wood, is an actor
as well as acting coach. There are two older brothers, Dana Wood, a singer, and
Ira David Wood IV, who has also acted. Evan and her brothers performed in the
Theatre In The Park, Raleigh, where her father is the executive director. At
the age of five, she was screen-tested against Kirsten Dunst to play the lead part
in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994) following a
lengthy audition process. In 1996, she relocated to Los Angeles along with her
brother Ira and mom. She has been a prominent character in television shows
film, feature films, and TV movies ever since. Tracy was her character in
Practical Magic (1998) and also in S1m0ne (2002 the child of Al Pacino). Holly
Hunter followed with Thirteen (2004). Her breakthrough role in the role of
Tracy on "Thirteen" resulted in an Golden Globes nomination and a

Ira David Wood III. Ira David Wood IV's younger sister and Dana Wood's older
sister. She is a professional dancer. She likes to sing, do horseback riding,
and rollerblade. She is earned a black belt in Tae kwon do. She remains in
contact with a lot of her Once and Again (1999 castmates: Mischa Barrton, Julia
Whelan and Shane West.
